Small things that can make a hard season a little lighter.
Welcome to my little Resource Room.
During cancer, I discovered that sometimes the things we need most aren't big things.
Sometimes they are the small things that make an ordinary, difficult day feel a little more bearable.
A recipe passed down through generations.
Something nourishing when you don't have the energy to cook.
A little skincare ritual that helps you feel like yourself.
Something to colour when your mind needs a break.
Sudoku when you want to keep your brain busy while your body needs to rest.
Knitting a blanket for my children when I needed to feel like I was still creating something for them.
Because there is this strange in-between season that doesn't always get talked about.
You're not sick enough to stay in bed all day.
But you're not well enough to get back to your normal life either.
Your body is exhausted, but your mind is still going.
That's where so many of these little things lived for me.
They became moments of comfort. Distraction. Nourishment. Creativity. Something to look forward to.
And that's what I want this Resource Room to be for you.
A little collection of things I've used, needed, loved or wished I had — from skincare and traditional recipes to simple activities and practical resources for the days in between.
A one-stop little corner for this season, wherever you happen to be in your journey.
And yes, everything in the shop is intentionally $2.
Not because these things don't have value.
But because I know what it's like for cancer to change more than your body. Finances can be affected too, and suddenly every dollar matters.
I wanted you to be able to find something useful, comforting or simply enjoyable without having to think twice about whether you can afford it.
So think of these little resources as a hug from me to you. 🤍
They've been created and gathered with so much love and care.
And I hope that, in some small way, when you find something here that makes your day a little lighter, you are reminded:
You are not alone.

During my cancer journey, I learned that sometimes the things that help us through aren't huge.
Sometimes it's a worksheet.
A prayer.
A devotional.
A practical tool.
Something that helps you organise your thoughts when everything feels overwhelming.
Something that gives you five quiet minutes to breathe.
Or simply something that reminds you:
You're not the only one who's felt this way.
I started creating these little resources from the things I used, needed or wished I had.
And now I'm passing them on.
